questions englishWhat are english questions like on the ACT?

Im supposed to take the ACT and im confident about the Science and Math, but my English is lacking a bit, i was hoping somebody could tell me what the questions are like, are they questions like naming the type of verb tenses, finding the definite and indefinite articles, using punctuation correctly,(basically writing fundamentals and how to form sentences correctly) or is it just you have to read a stoquestions englishry and state the themes, and find whats being said, or is it a little bit of both, and the most important question was it hard in your opinion?
You're talking about two different ACT sections - English and Reading. The English section gives you 5 passages with 15 questions each. The questions are about grammar and style - most commonly, they ask you how to fix the grammar in a specific sentence. Other timquestions englishes, they will ask things like "should the author add this sentence." ALWAYS read the question stem, and not just the choices, so that you know what you are answering.

The Reading section has 4 passages, with 10 questions each. The questions range from specific (e.g. what is the author saying) to general (tone or main idea.)

You should get a practice test to see for yourself!
